Dropbox has truly revolutionized our small company. We always keep our files backed up (using Time Machine) and/or mirrored hard drives but we wanted access from everywhere and anywhere. Dropbox gives us this functionality for the fraction of the cost. All of the our files and (your assets) are constantly backed up. We use Dropbox to not only make our files easily accessible from anywhere but also keep them safe.
